Discuss Hi my aerial is on the roof of my house but when I walk past the TV in my bedroom it loses signal. Can anyone tell me why. in the Freeview and Terrestrial TV Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Maybe the screen is not terminated correctly at the coax outlet. Or perhaps the cable runs under floorboards and squashes it when you walk on it. I think you need to work back from the coax plug that goes into the rear of the tv.

Sometimes other things can cause interference. Static in your body, fluorescent lights, microwaves etc etc.
not saying any of this IS the problem, but worth a thought.

I had a problem once when a tv cut out at almost the same time each night, just as it got dark.
There was a streetlight switching on across the road which was line of sight from transmitter to aerial.

what stuff? all they got is heather, sheep, rocks, and bugger it - single malt. see what you mean.
