I think they die off in October but if it was summer I would have been concerned.Jeez I'd have been straight out of there.
The house is full of weird and wonderful wiring. It was functional with a working RCD upfront but that was probably to do with nothing being earthed. As above, if it was buzzzzzzzing, i would Wasp the F out of there.
some interesting collection of wire types and not quite perfect terminations.
i think i maybe did!I think I would have pooped my pants
Not too keen on them myself.F**king hate wasps..... nasty little beasties.

I keep a spray can of wasp killer in my van for such eventualities
I'd be more worried about the the shape of those pipes in that pipe insulationView attachment 106473

Scairy Liquid......to the wasps, then?Washing up liquid kills them on contact. Spray bottle with a fairly strong solution of it will sort them in no time, without lasting impact on your lungs or expanding foam stuck to everything.
I didn't believe this would work until they decided to begin nesting in our bin - huge swarm neutralised in a couple of minutes.
nice buzz-box you have thereBuzz buzz...
As they say on the advertisements on TV "Always keep away from Children" I always try to.Scairy Liquid......to the wasps, then?
Slightly optimistic earthing. 16mm from each of the two DBs, to a single strand of something that would definitely have been measured in fractions of an inch when it was installed many decades ago (and not for the purpose of earthing the installation!)

You assume correctly. And installing an isolator too. For the princely sum of £287.09+VATI assume the DNO will be replacing that?
